40th Birthday Cake for Susana

Life begins at Forty! This cake was requested for Susana's surprise birthday party, organised by her husband.
Susana is famous for her fried rice vermicelli. So i thought it would be nice to have the theme of her doing some cooking...the noodles of course! The husband also requested the figurines of the whole family relaxing, while Susana was busy looking after the family. It's such a cute idea and i'm sure Susana is very impressed by her hubby :))
The top, middle and bottom tier were Lapis Surabaya Cake. Everything was handmoulded and edible. Happy Birthday Susana.

Route 66 theme cake for 30th Birthday

This cake was requested by Sarah, who celebrated her birthday with husband Mark over the weekend. They both turned 30. I'm not sure what's the story behind this cake, but i guess they both love America :)
Cakes were Red Velvet and Dark Choc Mud. Happy 30th Sarah and Mark!

his cake was requested for the queen of the house :) Actually the husband was the one who loves Lamborghini. So he thought this cake would be fun to tease her a bit :) Very cheeky husband! It was a Lapis Surabaya Cake.

These cake and cupcakes were requested by a client, who lives in Malaysia and came to Melbourne for a vacation. She requested a cake, based on the tattoo of her partner. Apparently the name of this character is Moshi Baby, which i've never seen before. Vigneesh is celebrating his 28th and these special treats are the surprise gifts from his lovely lady. So sweet :)

Ethan's 9th Birthday Cake

Ethan turned 9 and he requested a cake with his figurine playing Minecrft game :) He was so happy with the cake. It was a big hit too on the instagram. The cake was Dark Choc Mud.

Birthday Cupcakes for Korean lover

This cupcakes were made for Winy, a girl who falls in love with Korea. Her friend gave this as a surprise birthday gift. There were Winy and her husband wearing Hanbok, a traditional Korean outfit, a Korean flag and Running Man logo (a Korean variety show). There are also a few things that Winy loves - Bible, coffee, make up, her Conan comic, baking and her Red Toyota Fiat. The flavour was Coffee Cupcakes with coffee SMBC.

My first dessert table - Valentine's Day High Tea

This was the first dessert table I created for a woman fellowship group, called West Friendship Club. We celebrated Valentine's Day together and it was held in our church building in Tarneit. I made the sandwiches, cake and cupcakes. Some other ladies brought many yummy treats, such as custard profiterols, mini valentine's biscuits, salmon pies, rissoles, marsmellow pops and many more. The event went really well.

 

Ombre Strawberry Sponge filled with fresh strawberries and SMBC. I love fresh roses on the cake. They look gorgeous!

 

Cupcakes are red velvet with cream cheese and mini hearts :)

Car Toybox Birthday Cake for twin boys

Made this cake for twins who love cars. It was a red velvet cake with cream cheese fillings. All decorations are from fondant.

White Wedding Cake

Lace Wedding Cake, delivered to beautiful venue at Leonda by Yarra. The figurines were about 10 cm tall. 10 inch and 7 inch Vanilla Cake with Vanilla Bean Swiss Meringue and white chocolate ganache.

Orchid Wedding Cake

This was a wedding cake made for my high school friend. The couple requested 2 panda figurines on top. So I was browsing through Flickrs and found these cute looking pandas. I added a tulle for the bride. I also used fresh orchids, which I thought would look much better than sugar orchids. The colours are just gorgeous! The cake was 10 inch and 7 inch Lapis Surabaya with SMBC and combination of white and dark choc ganache. The couple said it was a really beautiful and delicious cake :)

Money suitcase Birthday Cake

The client requested to have a cake with a theme 'money in a suitcase'. So I came up with this ideas. Although the money was from real paper, the client was satisfied. I would need an edible printer next time :)
